Two months into the Forum, this year's class of IT leaders proves to be highly engaged and eager to learn from one another. With participants from companies like Self Esteem Brands, Fairview Health Services and Slumberland, leaders are finding that regardless of background or industry they are experiencing many of the same opportunities and challenges within the workplace.
The IT Leadership Forum is designed to enhance leadership skills through a professionally facilitated forum where peers come together to learn from one another and where leaders discuss trends, challenges and potential solutions. Currently in its 11th year, the Forum boasts more than 300 participants across 40 businesses throughout Iowa and Minnesota. Check out the interview between Paragon and Shonna Dorsey, senior IT consultant for Mutual of Omaha Insurance, discussing IT leadership.
In January, Kelly McClellan led the group through the importance of authenticity as a leader develops a personal brand. And in February, Jeff Meacham discussed the intersection of self-awareness and communication which had participants asking for more.
