Tech Leaders Join Advisory Board

After 10 years and more than 400 participants, Paragon IT Professionals looks to local tech leaders to help transform Iowa’s IT Leadership Forum. Leaders from Principal Financial Group, Corteva, ARAG, John Deere and Mittera will serve on an advisory board to revitalize the 2021 Forum.

“We’ve had an exceptional 10 plus years bringing leaders together to learn from one another,” said Joel Jackman, founder of Paragon’s IT Leadership Forum. “The board of advisors are all past participants who believe the forum provides exceptional value and want to see it continue.” The Forum will continue with its half-day format, but will look to the board of advisors and their employers to help host the monthly sessions. In addition, the advisors will take a more active role and help facilitate discussions. Members of the board of advisors include: Jeremy Comer, Corteva; Rachelle Little, John Deere; Todd Parsons, Principal; Gina Brown, ARAG; Andy Boerjan, Principal; Julie Raveling, Principal; and Stephanie Kempf, Mittera.

“As leaders, we must strive for continuous improvement to create space for new perspectives, open our minds to exploration, and enhance our skills for those we serve,” said Gina Brown, innovation and strategy advisor at ARAG. “The Forum provides a well-rounded experience to challenge our thinking, create new connections, collaborate and learn.”
